Evlove Computer to Offer NorthNet Internet Service

January 23, 2000. Fond du Lac, WI. Evolve Computer of Fond du Lac announced that it has started offering local Internet access through NorthNet of Oshkosh. Also, Evolve Computer will be able to offer its business customers dedicated Internet service using ISDN, DSL, and T1 technology provided by NorthNet.

"Like Fond du Lac's communication expert Don Jones, we believe the area's businesses should focus more on Internet technology for business solutions and new markets," states Steve Shaw, President of Evolve. "Accordingly, we have decided to offer current and prospective customers expanded Internet technology services with an emphasis on our hands-on personalized service. It seemed natural to offer NorthNet's Internet services, telecommunication expertise, and reputation of personal customer service to the Fond du Lac area."

Some of the special programs being offered by the Evolve\NorthNet strategic partnership will a special discounted semester Internet rate for the all high schools and colleges in the Fond du Lac area. The special rate applies to all faculty, staff, students, and parents for their home connections.  In addition, Evolve plans on offering special Internet education classes for beginner, intermediate, and experienced Internet users. Finally, Evolve will be offering a free month's service to all new subscribers for quarterly and yearly packages.
