Quilt Displays Mission Statement The Quilt Group from First Presbyterian Church recently completed a quilted banner depicting the church's mission statement:

"Ministry from the heart of Oshkosh, serving with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love."

 

The banner, now hanging in the sanctuary, is the result of the creative ideas and quilting skills of each member of the group.

History 2000 marked the 130th anniversary of our church congregation.  We remember those people from the past with appreciation.

Our building is over 110 years old...a grand, historic edifice with beautiful windows and lots of space that adopts beautifully to modern demands.  This past summer we completed the installation of an elevator to make all three floors of our place of worship handicapped accessible.

We are a caring, loving people who share what we have with others.  Our mission is to pass on the Good News and share the Spirit for generations to come.
